dust off the old racquet and tube of blue balls!! its racquetball time!!!
it seems to me that every time i play racquetball, there are at least 5 other people that want to go. unfortunately, its tough since its at most a 4 person game, so someone will pretty much always get left out.
so i have an idea. im considering organizing the first (hopefully of many) trumpet racquetball tournament! not only would this be a blast, but it should be relatively safe. maybe we could actually have an event withOUT an injury...
depending on the level of interest, we can do both a singles and doubles bracket, with prizes of some sort for each. and i think we could do this regularly (once a month, every other month, or just once per semester...) if we have fun with it.
before we can start the planning though, i need to know who would be interested in such an event. so if you are interested, leave a post here or find me at practice and let me know. right now i just need a headcount to see if its even worth planning. we can work out the details later.

i want to play in both singles and doubles
I might not be very good, but it sounds like fun!!!
all skill levels welcome! this, like everything we do, is for fun!! :)
i like to hit balls with racquets....
i like to play with others too....
really all i'm sayin is: i'll play onsies and twosies :)
ps amanda, i'm not that good either
I've never actually...you know...played.
But I'd like to try, if someone could cover the rules and everything for me.
so far i count 7 people interested. i figure we need at least 8 to do a tournament, that would give us 3 rounds, but i would really like to see upwards of 12 or more. tell your friends!
Count me in. I've never played doubles, but I'd be willing to try.
