Smokin'
The new trumpet website is smokin' hot!!! Great job Marilyn for putting that together and kudos to whoever helped. So that leaves us with:
next step may be for one of the rookies to step up and make a facebook group or something. There are several out there, but they are all admin'd by graduated trumpets and are pretty dead.
I saw a rookie trumpet facebook group that was made last year, and has like 3 people left in it. A new group like that may be the way to go so that the rookies can meet eachother on facebook. However with the website and the blog, I don't see much need for making a full section facebook group.
Only authors can make posts and comments. If you are a member of the trumpet section or you are interested in becoming a future member of the trumpet section and you are not an author, contact Eric so he can invite you.
Keep in mind that since the blog is now public, anybody can read it. Be considerate of the privacy of others and don't post any information that you wouldn't want anybody else to read. Content will be monitored by the blog administrators and removed if need be.

Your posts can be band related, social, funny, sad or pretty much anything else you want, within reason. Go ahead and test the boundaries if you want. We probably wont get mad, but you might offend some people, so don't be a jerk.
Please keep bad language to a minimum, however... insults directed toward other section members in a harsh way, or in a way that could be taken as "not a joke" will not be tolerated. Please be careful.

Or maybe the rookies could start an introduction post here which gives everyone (including returning members) an idea of who they are.
but then how would they expand their group of friends on facebook!?
but yes, that would be a good idea as well.
There's still that photobucket site that we should add photos to as well...
