Colored mouthpieces

As mentioned by Michelle, colored mouthpieces will not be allowed at performances starting this year.

The exceptions will be black, gold and neutral colors like clear. If you don't know if a mouthpiece is okay, probably shouldn't use it, but at least ask before you do.

What?!? When did this happen? Is this a Jay rule or section rule? I guess it doesn't matter too much since my "coloured mouthpiece" is gold anyways...

My first reaction is no, because it really does stick out a lot. I will be sure to ask Jay when we get back to school.
