Hey All! So to piggy back on the email Eric sent out to all of you:
I am in the OPS office, and I don't recommend drinking from the water jugs if you don't have to... mainly for two reasons:
1. long lines, like he already mentioned
2. i know where that water comes from... sometimes it isn't the greatest, and its not always cold (that only happens when we feel up to getting ice)
its not going to kill you at all, you just might feel a little strange ;) just kidding
water bottles and nalgene bottles rock, just a thought though

Though water bottles and Nalgene bottles might not be the best option either...

Wait, we can't drink tap water because it'll kill us, and we can't drink bottled water because it'll destroy the environment?
Eric, don't you dare scare-monger people into not drinking water. First of all, I'm perfectly fine with destroying the environment, so bottled water is in.
That thing about reusing plastic bottles somehow killing you? Total bull. Then again, reusing plastic bottles helps not destroy the environment as much, so I'm not really for it.

As far as tap water in Nalgenes? We live in an age where pretty much anywhere I can walk ten feet, turn a nob, and clean water magically flows out of a faucet. I've heard there's pumps and pipes and infrastructure involved, but I don't buy it. Must be magic. In any case, I refuse to believe magic water is unhealthy. So that's fine too.
Kyle, I'm not sure how much of your comment is serious and how much of it is sarcasm, but I have a feeling this conversation would be a lot more entertaining in person.
Ok, ok, I did further research, and realize there's not much wrong with using something like a Nalgene bottle. I'm still hesitant about the use of regular plastic bottles (#1 recyclables), because I've heard other reports on these aside from the BPA scare. Nalgene actually has put up a bunch of information concering this on their website:

I still have a problem with your environmental unfriendliness though, but that's another story.
WOW, I think I'm going to go with Kyle ftw... and I'll stick with my nalgene bottle filled with TAP water from home too
That's why I simply say bring Vodka in bottles! It sanitizes right?...ok you can delete this post now :-P
